About Avion Coffee
We roast specialty coffee in small batches, and we want you to enjoy every cup you make at home.
Why Avion?
Avion is the French word for airplane. We chose it because coffee is a well-travelled crop: it is grown on high slopes near the equator, and it crosses oceans before it reaches your kitchen. Our job is to make that journey worth it.
We buy coffee from producers and cooperatives, taste each lot, and roast it in small batches to bring out what makes it special. Then we send it to you as whole beans, with clear information on the bag and simple guides to help you brew it well.
What we care about
Taste first
We choose coffees because they taste great, not because they are trendy. Sweetness, balance and clarity matter to us more than novelty.
Freshness
Coffee is a fresh product. We roast in small batches and encourage you to buy only what you will drink soon.
Clear information
Every coffee lists its origin, altitude, process and roast level. Our bag guide explains what the words mean.
Learn as you drink
